Michael offers a unique perspective as an investigator of both the living
and the dead! Michael is a police detective, having ten years of law
enforcement experience. He has been actively investigating ghosts
since 2000.
Michael has a background in the sciences, having studied and worked
in the field of exercise physiology and sports medicine for over ten
years before pursuing a life long dream of being a police officer. He
still maintains professional certifications from the American College of
Sports Medicine and the American Council on Exercise. His
background in the sciences includes research, testing and evaluation,
and the scientific method. His law enforcement training and
experience brings investigative know how and natural inquisitiveness.
Michael's own interests in the paranormal can be traced to his
childhood. "I was the kid in elementary school who was reading books
on ghosts and the paranormal" says Worden. His interest was fueled
by personal experiences he and many members of his family had at his
grandparents home, which is still haunted to this day.
In 2000 he began to work with noted author, historian and researcher
Linda Zimmermann. Zimmermann is the author of the Ghost
Investigator series of books. Working in small groups they have
investigated numerous locations including cemeteries, private homes,
and many other haunted locations. Their more notable locations
include Eastern State Penitentiary, the Lizzie Borden House and
Rolling Hills Sanatorium.
Worden is a proficient speaker and has given several lectures on the
paranormal. He is available to speak to your group or organization on
ghost hunting and the paranormal. Contact him through this site if

Worden is also in the process of writing a book about his experiences in
paranormal research and investigations. It has been a rather slow

Worden is the father of twin sons and enjoys travelling, home brewing
beer, writing, music, the outdoors and his sauna and hot tub! He has
made numerous trips abroad and has grown fond of the Scandinavian
Countries, particularly Finland, Iceland, Sweden and Norway. He plans
on retiring to Finland someday (or so he says).
