Orb photo taken in Turku Cathedral, Turku, Finland,
September 2002.  I took this as part of a nearly three
week trip abroad. It is the only photo out of over 24
rolls of film that had an orb in it.  Interestingly, it is
also the only orb photo from the cathedral.  No other
orbs appeared in photos taken before or after this
image.

However, the centering of the orb and location of large
windows on either side of the painting tend to make
me believe that the orb is the product of a reflection of
some type.  What's your opinion?  I'd like to hear it.
Orbs seem to be everywhere and are
often displayed as photographic
evidence of ghostly activity.

But are orbs reliable evidence?  Orbs
can be the result of very common
things that are encountered in
haunted locations.  These include
water droplets, dust, airborne
particles, and lens glare and
reflections.

Make sure that you examine your orb
photos with a critical eye and look for
more earthly explanations.  Also
consider each picture with other
evidence that may have occurred, such
as EMF fluctuations or temperature
changes.  The more pieces of
evidence, the better your evidence
may be.   Again, be objective.  Most of
the time you will find that the orb
photos are the result of more earthly
explanations.

MYSTERIOUS
ORBS!
